Woman calls herself Jesus Christ.
Thanks to Tim O’Dwyer for this article from his reading of the UK Law Gazette. The life of the legal profession is never boring!

PAUL THIS IS REALLY A REPLY TO WOMAN CALLS HERSELF JESUS CHRIST BUT YOUR SYSTEM MISFILES IT .
Maybe it is a matter of reincarnation.
I love to tell the story of the issuing of radio licenses in NSW in the 1930s.
The Theosophists asked for 2AB – after ANNIE BESANT – but it had already been taken.
So they asked for – and got – 2GB – after GIORDANO BRUNO – burned at the stake in1600 – but a pre-incarnation of Annie.
2GB is still around – no longer owned by the Theosophists.
it is very popular with right wing politicians (Come back ScoMo – all is forgiven)
GIORDANO BRUNO must be turning in his chariot of fire.
More likely a poor soul who has lost touch with reality. Is it really funny?
The sermon last Sunday was from the end of James – all about praying.
I couldn’t resist saying at the door – Action should complement praying – as I think James was saying earlier on.
An old mate – Alan Walker – used to say – Pray as if everything depended on it ; then act as if everything depended on it. Maybe Alan would be active in UCforum – if he still existed.
Anyway at the door, I told the preacher a funny story (but was it really funny ??)
A devout man (had to be Male) thought up a grandiose scheme – something like to Christianize Australia.
but it would take a lot of money.
So – he prayed to God to let him win the lottery. Could be done by an omnipotent God.
He didn’t win the first lottery drawn after his first prayer- but he persevered in his praying .
After many lotteries – won by others – he concluded that God was not going to answer his prayer
(Or, as the fundos would say – the answer was no)
In his final prayer he berated God for his/her indifference.
When he heard a voice – YOU GOTTA BUY THE TICKET
(As with people – so with jokes – the oldest are the best)
I often refer to James when asking for prayer. Action associated with prayer shows real sincerity and integrity.
