Have you tested Christian tradition and found it wanting? Have you wanted to liberate theology from the constraints of out-of-date world-views? Speaker: Dr Val Webb, prominent Australian theologian, with time to explore the subject together. Dr Val Webb is originally from Brisbane and, in recent years, has spoken at several Brisbane seminars that have been very popular. Val’s professional career spans microbiology, business, public relations, writing, art and theology. She has taught religious studies at the University of Minnesota and Augsburg College in USA and at theological colleges in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Val continues to write, teach and lead workshops around Australia and overseas. She is the author of 9 books and numerous papers, including her latest book “Testing Tradition and Liberating Theology – an invitation to adventure”.
