Qld Synod Survey of Christian Education Needs and Interests

The Board for Christian Formation has responsibility for encouraging Christian education and formation across the Uniting Church in Queensland. This includes oversight of Trinity Theological College and Pilgrim Learning Community which are currently being drawn into one new entity. As well as this the Board for Christian Formation is continuing to partner with presbyteries and other Synod organisations in developing the vision of the Network for Christian Formation.

In order for the Board to best fulfil its responsibilities and to address the ongoing learning needs of students and individuals, an invitation is extended to participate in this survey which will provide a snapshot of what people are doing and would like to do.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in progressive theology and related topics to make this known to the Queensland Synod. Perhaps the Synod is not yet aware of the growing interest in progressive Christianity and the desire by many for relevance and serious commitment to realistic engagement with the modern world.

You can complete the survey and have your ideas recorded for consideration of future offerings by Trinity Theological College and Pilgrim Learning Community which serve both lay and ordained adherents.

The link to the survey is found here.
